Overview As a Creative Director, you act as the authoritative lead for performance-driven ad campaigns across ecommerce and apps. You ensure that creative output isn’t just “fine,” but consistently moves towards excellence in concept, visual execution, and performance storytelling. You direct, critique, and elevate work from strategy and creative teams, and work closely with media, design, and analytics to shape winning creative that performs and scales. Role Ownership Set and enforce high creative standards across paid social, video, and display campaigns. Act as final decision-maker on creative quality - from hooks and copy to finished executions. Collaborate with media, strategy, and analytics to define creative goals tied to performance outcomes. Lead creative briefs, concept reviews, and ensure alignment with brand and performance objectives. Output & Review Oversee weekly creative deliverables across brand verticals. Provide actionable, direct feedback and hands-on revision guidance. Ensure creative pipeline feeds high-velocity testing without sacrificing quality. Team Development Guide and grow junior creative strategists and designers. Establish clear standards, review processes, and quality benchmarks. Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration Present creative direction and results insights to clients and internal stakeholders. Defend creative decisions with data and reasoning. Act as a bridge between brand clients and performance teams. What Success Looks Like This role is high leverage - success is measured by: Creative quality uplift (e.g., consistency at or above 9/10 standard). Performance impact on key KPIs (CTR, View metrics, Conversion Rate, CPA, ROAS). Speed and planning abilities - are we bringing impressive concepts to market, on time? Team development outcomes (fewer revisions, rising internal standards). Must-Have Qualifications 7+ years in creative leadership within performance advertising, digital agencies, or brand & performance teams. Strong understanding of performance data and how it should inform creative choices. Demonstrated track record of elevating creative output and visual standards. Strong communication and decisiveness - ability to give clear, direct briefs and critiques. Nice-to-Have Experience working with cross-functional teams (design, paid media, analytics). Portfolio showing high-impact performance creative wins (measurable uplift).
