Join to apply for the Intermediate Project Engineer-Bridges role at GHD Our GTA office is looking for a new Intermediate Bridge Engineer to join the Property & Buildings team Responsibilities include: Participating in and completing multi-disciplined bridge projects, including rail bridges and complex designs. Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff. Collaborating with teams and leading integration with other engineering disciplines. Producing conceptual and detailed designs, technical specifications, and estimates. Working within various procurement models. Preparing reports and contract documents for review agencies, clients, and the public. Maintaining contacts with sub-consultants, municipalities, utility companies, and clients. Monitoring project schedules and budgets. Qualifications: Ontario P.Eng. designation required. 7+ years of experience in bridge design and engineering. Knowledge of Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC), Ontario standards (OPSS), and client standards (e.g., MTO). Experience with Midas Civil or SAP2000 software. Experience with Metrolinx, AREMA, CN Rail, CP Rail, and MTO is an asset. Bilingual in English and French is an asset. GHD promotes diversity and inclusion.
