Why Join Us Competitive salary ($110,000 – $130,000 commensurate with experience) Flexible hybrid work environment Full benefits package Employee celebrations and events Annual employee recognition program Employee Bonus program Position Description We are posting a new position for a Director of Business Operations (Quebec) , operating out of our Montreal, Quebec location, with a primary focus on the daily management of business development for our Enterprise & Service Provider Business Unit (herein “Business Unit”) in the Province of Quebec. The qualified professional has a minimum of five (5) years of management experience and knowledge of IP Infrastructure networks and associated support services, such as LAN, WAN, Cabling Infrastructure, IP Telephony, AV, Physical Security, Wi-Fi, Collaboration, etc., with proven ability to manage such a Business Unit, including the management of associated staffing. Position Responsibilities Proactively promote the company’s products and services offerings within the customer base to access additional profitable business opportunities on an ongoing basis. Overall management of the Business Unit support staff, including Service Coordinators, Technicians and Subcontractor Partners, ensuring the proper staff are hired to support growth and conducting scheduled evaluations of performance for staff reporting to you in line with company policy. Accountability for the financial performance and revenue forecasting of the Business Unit; ensure all financial month-end deadlines are met, report shortfalls or negative impacts with corrective plans, and ensure invoicing is completed daily to meet customer and company requirements. Identify and pursue sales opportunities with net new customers (Acquisition Accounts). Orchestrate meetings, propose solutions, submit proposals, and actively participate in presenting these proposals. Execute and expand assigned customer account plans developed with management. Communicate with customers and leads to identify needs and suggest products and services to meet them. Maintain communication with new customers, informing them of new products, services, and enhancements of interest. Manage the Business Unit to meet customer SLAs and maintain top-of-class ratings with customers on a daily basis. Use critical thinking to anticipate and manage potential risks; communicate these to stakeholders and ensure timely, effective decisions. Provide daily management, training, and mentoring of staff to ensure productivity and high-quality support across projects and services. Establish and manage a Subcontractor partner base as required to support growth in Quebec. Manage after-hours on-call rotation for the Business Unit in Quebec in coordination with regional offices and partners to ensure 24/7 support; participate in the escalation process as needed. Oversee Business Unit projects to meet technical, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives. Plan project kick-offs for awarded projects with Finance, Project Support, Technical Staff, and partners as per company processes. Ensure field resources work safely and to the highest quality standards, following designs provided by the company or customer. Coordinate work hours with customer schedules, including nights and weekends when required. Follow all company processes and procedures for delivering products and services to customers. Maintain the company quality assurance program across installations and practices daily. Aim for 100% customer satisfaction in all responsibilities of this role. Maintain positive relationships with customer representatives, company staff, OEMs, and partners at all times during support activities.
