Senior BIM Manager page is loaded## Senior BIM Managerlocations: Torontotime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 13 Days Agojob requisition id: JR SJ is a diverse collective of problem solvers for the built environment, continually reimagining ways to create a smart and sustainable future.Headquartered in Singapore, the group has a global talent pool of 16,000 in its member companies AETOS, Atelier Ten, B+H, CHIL, KTP, Prostruct, Robert Bird Group, SAA, SMEC and Surbana Jurong, based in more than 120 offices in over 40 countries.Its technical experts deliver sustainable solutions that cover the entire project life cycle from planning and design, through to delivery and management, as well as a full suite of multidisciplinary consultancy services across a diverse range of sectors including transportation, water, aviation, healthcare, hospitality and renewables.A global urban, infrastructure and managed services consulting firm with over 70 years of track record in successful project delivery, SJ has built more than a million homes in Singapore, created master plans in more than 60 countries and developed over 100 industrial parks globally.**Please visit our website:****Purpose / Role:****Team & Process Leadership*** Manage and mentor a small team of BIM specialists and Revit users in Healthcare, Architecture and Interior Design Departments.* Support the company’s BIM Leads in the overall development and implementation of BIM strategies.* Provide technical orientation and ongoing training to new and existing staff.* Maintain high competency in BIM software through continuous learning and development.**Project Support & Coordination*** Prepare and oversee BIM Execution Plans (BEP) for projects.* Lead BIM coordination meetings and facilitate interdisciplinary clash detection.* Monitor design progress to ensure alignment with project schedules and BIM deliverables.* Ensure BIM delivery satisfies tender and authority submission requirements.**Model & Workflow Management*** Develop and maintain project templates and Revit families (complex, parametric, nested).* Ensure models are well-structured, coordinated, and maintained through regular audits.* Assist architects & designers in improving productivity and efficiency with BIM workflows.* Facilitate QA/QC processes and validate models for stakeholder issuance.**Technical Oversight*** Identify and resolve technical issues related to software, licensing, and network performance.* Supervise and enforce BIM documentation and workflow standards.* Provide support for electronic file submissions and BIM authority requirements.* Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent* Autodesk Revit Certified Professional* BIM Management Certificate (e.g., BCA Academy or equivalent)* Expert in Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, Drofus, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360 & ACC* Skills in Dynamo, Python, Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, V-Ray, Solibri, Bluebeam are an advantage.* Knowledge of Canadian and international BIM/VDC standards* Strong grasp of architectural and structural design workflows* Clear communicator with strong organisational skills* Proactive, self-driven, and discreet* Collaborative and confident working independently.* Leader and coach for developing staff.**Reasonable Adjustments**We are committed to ensuring an inclusive and accessible recruitment process for all candidates.
