Responsibilities Analyze insurance policy wording to determine coverage and entitlements. Communicate effectively with customers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers to settle claims. Conduct investigations and gather additional information such as medical or employment history. Collect reports and statements to determine liability and coverage. Document cases clearly and ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Assist junior staff and escalate complex issues to senior staff or management. Qualifications University degree or relevant training and experience. At least 3 years of experience as an Accident Benefits claims Adjuster. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Knowledge of provincial auto insurance legislation. Pursuing CIP designation is an asset.
