HR Consultant, KPMG Law At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world. What You Will Do Support the implementation of talent strategies and plans aligned with business needs under direction from the Functional HR Leader. Provide support to the client on HR annual processes, including Global People Survey, engagement initiatives, pay planning, performance management, and talent reviews. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Functional Leaders and People Leaders to support the execution of HR programs and processes. Partner with the business to create and implement employee engagement plans based on qualitative data collected (stay interviews, exit interviews, focus groups, etc.). Provide research, report preparation, and PowerPoint presentation support on relevant HR topics, trends, and initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and teams to create a diverse and inclusive work environment. Partner with Centres of Excellence such as Total Rewards, Inclusion & Diversity, or Employee Relations as needed. Support the client in addressing a wide variety of sensitive and confidential employee issues. Participate as a project team member on HR and People initiatives. What You Bring To The Role Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and post‑secondary diploma or certificate in HR. 5+ years of experience in Human Resources in a fast‑paced, corporate environment; professional services experience is preferred. Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities for multiple stakeholders. Ability to develop strong relationships with internal clients, gain credibility, challenge the norm and be seen as a trusted advisor. Strong organizational and detail‑oriented skills with the ability to work in a changing environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Self‑starter who identifies problems and suggests solutions naturally. Excellent proficiency with PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Proficiency in English at a business level is required. A CPHR designation or designation in process is considered an asset. Fluent written and verbal English required to support a national team and stakeholders across Canada. KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information The expected base salary range for this position is $74,000 to $111,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
