The appointment effective date is April 1 2026. Responsibilities Key member of two inter‑disciplinary surgical programs: (1) Transition‑Related Surgery (TRS) integrated, team‑based program for gender‑affirming chest wall surgery; (2) Breast Cancer Program focusing on reconstruction after mastectomy. Full member of the Division of Plastic Surgery in both WCH and the University of Toronto. Member of the WCH Department of Surgery practice plan with an elective plastic surgery practice and cross‑appointment at the University Health Network. Provide operating room time, clinic time, and office space at WCH. Develop and sustain a scholarly program related to clinical focus areas. Demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and clinical practice. Qualifications Master’s or Ph.D. in research, education, or management. Clinical fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Eligibility for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Eligibility for appointment at the Women’s College Hospital Research Institute. Compensation Estimated salary in the range of $250,000–$500,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and dependent on fee‑for‑service clinical billing.
