Vos responsabilités
Sous la supervision générale du/de la Superviseur(e) de l'entretien des rouleaux, enquêter, évaluer et effectuer le travail nécessaire pour réparer les rouleaux de machines à papier ou d'autres équipements spécifiés.
Effectuer des réparations spécifiques sur tout type de rouleau pour l'industrie des pâtes et papiers;
Pour les rouleaux de machines - démonter et assembler les composantes internes des rouleaux d'aspiration, des boîtes de vitesse et de toute autre pièce d'équipement;
Inspecter les rouleaux aspirants, les rouleaux à couronne variable, et les boîtes d'engrenage en utilisant des instruments de mesure de précision ainsi que l’inspection visuelle;
Ajustement de la tête - vérifier la concentricité de la coquille et de la tête, le cône et vérifier que l'interférence est conforme aux spécifications;
Analyse des roulements - calculer les ajustements et les tolérances;
Réparer les systèmes hydrauliques et pneumatiques;
Démonter, réparer et remplacer les arbres et les accouplements;
Travailler avec des plans et des dessins, calculer les tolérances d'ajustement;
Calculer les mesures de cercle et de rayon;
Tracer des têtes factices pour le perçage de rayons;
Fabriquer des gabarits et des montages;
Souder à l'aide d'un équipement de soudage oxyacétylénique, à l'arc ou Mig;
Serrer les têtes au couple selon des tolérances spécifiques;
Équilibrer les rouleaux de façon statique et dynamique;
Utiliser divers équipements d'atelier d'usinage tels que fraiseuses, tours, aléseuses, etc.;
Diriger des apprentis sous la supervision du superviseur de l'entretien des rouleaux, le cas échéant;
Autres tâches selon les besoins.
Votre profil
Mécanicien(-ne) Industriel Certifié(e) ou Apprenti(e) Mécanicien(-ne) Industriel;
Connaissance fonctionnelle du système de mesure impérial;
Habiletés de base en informatique pour de l’entrée de données et les courriels (suite MS Office);
Maîtrise du français, anglais écrit et parlé fonctionnel;
Disponible pour des quarts rotatifs (jour et soir);
Nous exigeons un examen médical pré-emploi dans le cadre de notre processus d’embauche.

Your tasks
Under the general supervision of the Roll Servicing Supervisor, evaluate and perform the necessary work to repair paper machine rolls or other specified equipment.
Perform specific repairs to any type of roll for the pulp and paper industry.
For machine rolls - disassemble and assemble suction roll internal components, gear boxes and any other piece of equipment.
Inspect suction rolls, variable crown rolls, and gear boxes using precision measuring instruments as well as visual inspection.
Head fits - check concentricity of shell and head, taper and verify interference is according to specification.
Bearing analysis - calculate fits and tolerances.
Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Remove, repair and replace shafts and couplings.
Work with blueprints and drawings, calculate tolerances for fit.
Calculate circle and radius measurements.
Layout dummy heads for radius drilling.
Fabricate jigs and fixtures.
Weld using oxyacetylene, arc or mig welding equipment.
Torque heads to specific tolerances.
Balance rolls statically and dynamically.
Operate various machine shop equipment such as milling, lathe, boring mill etc.
Directs apprentices under supervision of Roll Servicing Supervisor when and where applicable.
Other duties as specified.

Licensed Millwright or Apprentice Millwright
Functional knowledge of imperial measure system
Computer skills including data entry and emails (MS Office Suite)
Proficiency in French, functional spoken and written English
Available for rotating shifts (day and evening)
