We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our Maintenance team at Westlake. This position is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with production personnel and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to production schedules.
  • Operate machinery and tools, including hand tools, power tools, scissor/boom lifts, and lift trucks.
  • Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Red Seal Millwright ticket required.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Computer experience, including email and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to read and interpret layout drawings and blueprints.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work in a loud and sometimes dusty environment.
  • Frequent work near moving equipment.
  • Occasional work at heights.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, hi-vis, ear protection, eye protection, and steel-toed boots.
