The opportunity We are hiring a Media Director to own media strategy and delivery for strategic health accounts. You will be the senior media leader for fast‑moving, high‑stakes briefs, responsible for planning, implementation and performance across omni‑channel health ecosystems. You will shape media strategies that balance commercial goals with clinical and regulatory realities, and you will lead a team that turns insight into measurable campaigns. What you will do Lead the development, presentation and execution of holistic media strategies for health and wellness clients. Design and oversee planning, trafficking, optimization and reporting across digital, shopper and retail pharmacy channels, marketplaces and health platform partnerships. Bring thought leadership and innovation to media plans – testing new formats, commerce activations, social and influencer partnerships, video and patient engagement tactics. Manage end‑to‑end campaign governance – goal setting, KPI frameworks, workflow design and continuous improvement processes. Translate research, segmentation and clinical evidence into insight‑led media strategies and testable hypotheses. Serve as the client‑facing media lead – confidently present recommendations, defend strategies and translate results into next steps for brand and commercial teams. Mentor and coach media planners and buyers, provide hands‑on guidance, and troubleshoot complex buying and measurement issues. Support new business efforts and lead seamless media integrations when bringing new clients into the agency. Who you are 7+ years of media planning and strategy experience, ideally with significant work for health, wellness or healthcare clients. Deep experience across digital and commerce‑driven channels, with a strong understanding of shopper and retail pharmacy ecosystems, marketplaces and health platform partnerships. Practical knowledge of programmatic/display, social, paid video, search and influencer activations. Strong commercial instincts – media negotiation, budget stewardship and performance optimization. Comfortable with measurement and research tools – experience with MRI, Simmons, comScore, Google Marketing Platform or similar is preferred. Able to use data and research to uncover patient, clinician and consumer insights that inform media strategy. Excellent verbal and written communication – able to present to client leadership and coordinate with media vendors and cross‑functional teams. Sensitivity to the nuances of health communications – privacy, compliance and evidence‑aligned messaging. Leadership experience – mentoring team members and driving cross‑team collaboration.
