Day-to-day This role requires consulting expertise, along with Salesforce configuration expertise on Sales Cloud, CPQ and Ironclad CLM, business analysis and strong communication skills. System Developer responsibility includes requirements gathering, solutioning, configuration, documentation, functional testing, and knowledge transfer. Develop and advise how to fulfil requirements within the Salesforce ecosystem leveraging CPQ and Ironclad best practices. Design and execute solutions including data mapping, object modeling, page layout design, and business process workflows. Integrate, troubleshoot and fix issues between Salesforce and other business systems. Experience working with large‑scale, complex datasets using Salesforce data tools. Provide changelogs and documentation on platform updates including user audit trails, workflow processes, reporting, and analytics. Address user questions, aggregate and prioritize feedback, plan and implement enhancements based on expertise and organizational goals. Identify Salesforce problems, develop fixes, ensure full QA testing, and implement solutions. Document and train staff on system best practices and processes. Review, recommend and implement new system features and updates. Required Skills Minimum 5 years of experience with Salesforce CPQ. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I. Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist. CLM system experience, Ironclad preferred. Experience building solutions in Lightning and using key Salesforce programming languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs). Experience with Salesforce.com architecture and APIs. Proven ability to meet challenging deadlines. Strong commitment to continuous learning and adopting new technologies. Capacity to effectively support diverse teams across time zones. Ability to maintain strong, supportive client relationships. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Nice to Have Experience with tools and applications such as Rocketlane, Gong, Churnzero, Zendesk, Data Cloud, and data warehouse downstream impacts with CRM. Salesforce Certified App Builder.
