Position Overview Wesdome Gold Mines is seeking a committed and experienced Underground Safety Advisor to join our Health & Safety team at our remote gold mining operation. This role is essential in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance across all underground activities. Position ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities and duties will include but not limited to the following: Conduct underground safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments Monitor work practices and ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations and internal safety standards Provide on-the-ground coaching and support to underground crews, supervisors, and contractors Participate in incident investigations and assist in root cause analysis Support the development and implementation of site safety programs, procedures, and training Maintain safety documentation and prepare reports for leadership and regulatory bodies Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and other departments to improve safety performance and reduce risk Promote a proactive safety culture and lead by example in all safety matters Position OverviewWesdome Gold Mines is seeking a committed and experienced Underground Safety Advisor to join our Health & Safety team at our remote gold mining operation.
