Solutions Architect

We’re looking for a Solutions Architect to join Teifi Digital In this role, you’ll design scalable Shopify and e-commerce architectures, lead technical integrations with third-party systems, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing digital solutions. We are looking for someone with deep Shopify expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for building innovative commerce experiences. Key Responsibilities > Design end-to-end system architectures for Shopify implementations, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across client projects. Plan and implement seamless integrations between Shopify and third-party systems, including ERPs, CRMs, payment gateways, inventory management tools, and marketing platforms. Guide and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and designers, to ensure system architectures align with project goals and client requirements. Define the technical framework for custom Shopify apps, themes, and middleware solutions tailored to client needs. Ensure that system designs can handle large-scale traffic and data processing, particularly for high-volume e-commerce businesses. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow processes, and API schemas. Stay updated on Shopify's latest features, app ecosystem, and industry best practices, and incorporate these into project recommendations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Systems Architect or similar role in an e-commerce or Shopify-focused environment. Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL) and Liquid templating. Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB). Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovation and scalability. Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced agency environment. Shopify Partner certifications or advanced training (preferred). Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) (preferred).
