About the job Role: Performance Marketing Director Location: London, UK or Los Angeles, CA Company Overview Driving innovation between fashion and technology, FINESSE is pioneering a new paradigm within the fashion industry that is more efficient, faster and more sustainable. Similarly to how a hedge fund would analyze stock performance and hedge its bets, FINESSE utilizes advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence on social & proprietary data to determine what styles will be trending next and the exact quantity to produce. Leading an era of predictive fashion, FINESSE’s algorithmic underpinnings allow for the creation of best-in-class products brought to market faster than the competition and done so more affordably and ethically. Instead of overproducing garments by the tonnes and coating the industry in garments no one ever asked for, FINESSE produces what is wanted, when it is wanted, eliminating the fashion industry’s footprint as the second largest polluter in the world. Our Culture Nestled between both the right and left brain, the FINESSE team consists of both an engineering and a creative culture, synthesizing two areas that have long remained separated. The FINESSE culture is one of excellence and dedication, of dreamers & doers. We envision the next age of fashion & consumer and then get to work to implement it, always thinking creatively, innovatively and collaboratively to create real change. We are energetic, highly creative and hungry for revolutionary change. The Role We’re looking for a data-driven, creative, and agile Performance Marketing Senior Manager or Director to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our Paid Media, Out-of-Home, and Affiliate marketing efforts. This role requires someone who thrives in both digital and traditional channels and can manage performance programs efficiently and measurably. The ideal candidate for this role has built and scaled performance marketing programs at hyper-growth consumer businesses, and thrives at the intersection of brand, data, and impact. You are as comfortable negotiating a billboard buy as you are testing 100 ad variants for TikTok. You’ll bring relentless curiosity, an experimentation mindset, and the operational rigor to turn insight into scale. Key Responsibilities Lead all media buying across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging digital platforms Own testing frameworks and performance KPIs; continuously optimize against CPA, ROAS, and LTV Bridge performance goals with creative storytelling by partnering with brand and creative to develop high-converting assets that drive sell-through from concept to campaign Set up clear attribution and reporting systems Develop OOH campaigns as part of larger cross-channel strategies, amplifying digital efforts including strategy, vendor management, and execution Optimize placements for both cultural resonance and brand lift – with proven ROI through measurement Build and scale affiliate & performance partnerships, including sourcing, onboarding, and relationship management Explore performance-based brand collabs and influencer marketing tied to CPA/ROAS outcomes Work cross-functionally with product, CX, finance, marketing and other departments to ensure smooth systems, A/B testing infrastructure, and clear performance tracking Own CRO and performance analytics across our website and digital experience Identify, test, and scale optimizations across product and site pages Use sales data, channel performance, and trend analysis to inform collection planning and positioning, collaborating closely with the design and brand teams Recommended Background 8+ years of performance marketing experience, ideally with 2+ years in a leadership role A proven track record of scaling paid media and growth programs at high-performance consumer businesses, ideally in apparel, beauty, or tech-enabled DTC Deep channel expertise across paid digital, with hands-on experience running campaigns directly Strong familiarity with attribution tools, BI dashboards, and A/B testing methodologies A builder mindset – not just optimizing what exists, but designing what’s missing Analytical and creative; able to derive insight and act on it fast High agency, high standards, low ego – comfortable owning outcomes in a fast-moving, collaborative team What You’ll Love at FINESSE Being at the forefront of revolutionizing the fashion industry with AI-driven innovation A close-knit, world-class team passionate about changing the face of fashion A diverse and inclusive work environment that values individuality Competitive benefits, including social insurances and generous allowances for meals and transportation #J-18808-Ljbffr
