Join Ottawa’s NEW Independent Running Specialty Store Starting Fall 2025 Hey Ottawa BlackToe Running is expanding to the capital, and we’re bringing our signature Run Club programs with us We’re looking for an experienced, inspiring and passionate Head Coach to help build something special and lead the charge. This is your opportunity to lead our signature Run Club programs and shape the Ottawa coaching program from day one and create a welcoming, performance focused environment suitable for runners of all speeds. The program is aimed at helping runners with base level experience train for Half Marathons and Marathons. This is not a learn to run program, but it will include athletes ranging from those new to structured training to very experienced runners. What You'll Do Lead Workouts: Deliver engaging group sessions and BlackToe Ottawa training programs, ensuring every athlete has an outstanding experience. Build Community: Foster an inclusive, supportive, and celebratory environment where runners feel excited to train. Celebrate achievements and guide athletes through the challenges of a training block so they can reach their goals. Coach with Confidence: Support runners as they prepare for half and full marathons, helping them feel strong, prepared, and confident on race day. Shape the Program: Collaborate with fellow BlackToe Head Coaches to design high-quality training plans, group workouts, and community initiatives. Be Part of the Team: Represent BlackToe Running at races, events, and throughout the local running community. What We're Looking For Experienced Runner & Coach: Proven success helping athletes reach their goals, paired with a passion for continuous learning in the sport. People-First Mindset: Outgoing, approachable, and genuinely excited to connect with every club member, whether new to structured training or chasing a PR. Community Builder: Inclusive, team-oriented, and fun; skilled at bringing people together both on and off the road.
