About The Opportunity Reporting to the Development Manager, the Senior iOS Developer is responsible for designing and implementing new development projects while enhancing existing solutions and services. You will focus on building the Dayforce mobile product natively for iOS and collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Technical Writers, and Quality Assurance to ensure the product is functionally complete and technically robust. What You’ll Get To Do Develop applications within a fast‑paced and dynamic iOS development team. Evaluate, improve, and contribute to design frameworks that define and promote standards and best practices. Provide input into the technical design of new applications, systems, and architecture. Contribute to proof‑of‑concept initiatives and feasibility analysis. Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that strengthen our technology platform. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements as needed. Perform peer code reviews, mentor new software engineers, and enforce coding standards. Advocate for Scrum/Agile methodology and support frequent release cycles with high‑quality features. Skills And Experience We Value 3+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift. Strong knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI. Experience consuming RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and working with BFF service layers. Expertise in JSON handling, data modeling, async networking, and API integration patterns. Experience with unit testing, XCTest, mocks/stubs, and automated test coverage. Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and collaborative code review practices. Understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines (HIG). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to sustainable development, testing, and writing high‑quality code. What Would Make You Stand Out Familiarity with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot. Passion for UI and UX. Understanding of mobile security, data protection standards, and secure coding practices. Experience working in an agile development environment. Experience developing enterprise software.
