Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented System Administrator to manage and support our organization’s Windows‑based environments and Microsoft 365 ecosystem . The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining desktops, laptops, servers, and cloud‑based services, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations. The role includes the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software, user account and licensing administration, system security, and integration of Microsoft cloud services into daily operations. The successful candidate will be a strong problem‑solver with hands‑on technical expertise and the ability to proactively ensure business continuity and compliance across IT systems. Key Responsibilities Microsoft 365 Administration Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams. Oversee licensing, user provisioning, and role‑based access controls to ensure compliance and efficiency. Support collaboration tools and provide user guidance for optimal adoption. Windows Systems Management Administer and maintain Windows desktops, laptops, and servers, including setup, patch management, and security updates. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime. Manage group policies, Active Directory (AD), and Azure Active Directory for authentication and access control. Security & Compliance Implement and enforce security standards across Microsoft 365 and Windows environments. Ensure system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity measures are regularly tested and maintained. Conduct regular audits for compliance with IT governance policies and licensing agreements. Cloud Integration & Support Support the integration of cloud services into existing IT operations, including hybrid environments. Assist in migrating workloads to cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure). Collaborate with IT teams to optimize cloud resource usage and performance. IT Support & Documentation Provide Tier‑2/Tier‑3 support for escalated IT issues, resolving complex system problems. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and best practices. Train and guide junior IT staff where needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 4+ years of experience in system administration, preferably in Windows and Microsoft 365 environments. Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Windows Server environments. Strong understanding of backup solutions, patching, endpoint management, and IT security practices. Preferred certifications: MCSA, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Microsoft Azure Administrator.
