The ideal candidate will enjoy working within a team environment with a highly capable group of established, multi-disciplinary professionals working towards innovation and constant improvement of the services and products we deliver to our clients. CBCL operates a multi-disciplinary environment where all aspects of a project are considered for optimal sustainable solutions. Your Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development of conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs and drawings for the full range of civil/municipal infrastructure including water distribution, sanitary sewer collection systems, pump stations, stormwater management, roadway systems, etc. Provide resident services on construction sites with the support of senior team members; Carry out site observations and data collection activities, including topographic survey, flow metering, and infrastructure investigations; Support the day-to-day activities of projects from inception through engineering, construction and contract administration; and Prepare technical reports and cost estimates. Your Capabilities and Credentials: Have recently earned a Degree in Civil Engineering and be registered or have the ability to register as a Member-in-Training with APEGNB; Have an interest in municipal and civil site development construction projects; Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, SketchUp and ArcMap would be an asset; Have excellent verbal and written communication skills; Possess strong interpersonal, organization, and time management skills; Have the ability to work in a deadline‑oriented environment; Hold a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to job sites.
