Overview Senior ETL Developer – IBM DataStage & Unix Responsibilities Develop and implement ETL solutions Design and build DataStage jobs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target data warehouses or data marts Data Warehousing and Data Integration: focus on data warehousing and data integration projects, ensuring data consistency and availability for business intelligence and analytics Performance Tuning: optimize the performance of ETL processes to meet business requirements and ensure efficient data processing SDLC and Agile Methodologies: participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and potentially work within agile frameworks Collaboration: work with business analysts, data architects, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions Production Support: may be involved in providing support for existing DataStage jobs in production, including troubleshooting and resolving issues Qualifications and Skills IBM Infosphere DataStage: strong proficiency in using DataStage for ETL development SQL and Databases: solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases like Oracle ETL Concepts: deep understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing principles, and data integration best practices UNIX/Linux: experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems, including scripting (e.g., Unix Shell Scripting) Data Modelling: familiarity with data modelling concepts and techniques Agile and DevOps: experience working in agile environments and potentially with DevOps practices Additional Technical Skills: 8+ years of strong design, development experience using C#, .NET Core, Web API, Angular/React, ASP.NET, MVC; 3+ years with SQL Server/Oracle/Sybase, complex procedures and SSIS; experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jira, Jenkins); familiarity with container-based technologies is a plus Nice to have: cloud platforms, big-data technologies, Linux/Windows application setup, APAC Regulatory Reporting experience Exp Required: 8-10 years Seniority Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries Information Services Get notified about new Senior ETL Developer jobs in Toronto, Ontario, Canada . #J-18808-Ljbffr
