Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Migration Architect Location: Canada (Flexible / Hybrid / Remote) Experience Level: Senior – 7+ years of ERP experience Job Description Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) Migration Architect to lead and drive large‑scale ERP migration initiatives for enterprise clients across Canada. In this strategic role, you will design and oversee end‑to‑end migration architectures, ensuring excellence in technical delivery, data integrity, and integration across systems. You will also play a key leadership role by coaching and mentoring project teams, fostering technical excellence, and promoting consistency in migration best practices. Core Responsibilities Design end‑to‑end migration architectures from legacy ERPs (AX, NAV, SAP, Oracle, etc.) to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. Lead data migration strategies, including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation using tools such as DMF, Azure Data Factory, or Scribe. Architect scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions aligned with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework and Well‑Architected principles. Define integration patterns using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and APIs to ensure seamless interoperability with third‑party systems. Conduct solution reviews and gap analyses, providing clear recommendations for migration paths, optimizations, and customizations. Ensure all migrations adhere to best practices in security, performance, and governance. Coaching & Team Enablement Mentor and coach functional consultants, developers, and junior architects throughout the migration lifecycle. Deliver internal training sessions on D365 F&O migration best practices, performance optimization, and upgrade strategies. Foster knowledge sharing and standardization of migration methodologies across projects. Support career growth and development of team members through hands‑on guidance and constructive feedback. Profile Requirements Minimum 7 years of ERP experience, including 4+ years on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. Proven experience leading full lifecycle D365 F&O migration projects. Strong expertise in data migration, X++, LCS, Power Platform, and Azure integration services. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management in D365. Demonstrated experience coaching teams and delivering technical enablement sessions. Preferred Certifications Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent cloud certification) Soft Skills Strong leadership and communication skills, with a client‑oriented mindset. Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non‑technical audiences. Bilingual (French and English) – strong asset for Montreal‑based projects.
