About Metify

We need a Blockchain Research Analyst who can break down DeFi, governance models, token incentives, and real-world blockchain applications with deep analytical rigor. If your research experience is limited to reading whitepapers or tracking price charts, this role is not for you.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct deep-dive research into emerging blockchain sectors—DeFi, L2 ecosystems, RWA tokenization, governance mechanisms.
  • Analyze tokenomics and incentive models —staking, veTokenomics, liquidity bootstrapping.
  • Track on-chain activity using Dune, Nansen, Arkham, Flipside Crypto to assess protocol adoption and treasury health.
  • Evaluate DAO structures and governance proposals , assessing real community engagement vs. governance manipulation.
  • Synthesize research into actionable reports , with a focus on long-term sustainability, not just short-term speculation.
  • Engage with Web3 founders, developers, and investors to uncover emerging trends before they hit the mainstream.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of research experience in Web3, DeFi, or crypto-native investment firms.
  • Deep understanding of tokenomics —not just reading about it, but breaking down actual protocol mechanics.
  • Proficiency with on-chain analytics —writing SQL queries in Dune, tracking smart contract interactions.
  • Familiarity with decentralized governance —active participation in DAOs is a strong plus.
  • Experience writing institutional-grade reports —concise, data-backed, and insight-driven.
  • Not transitioning from Web2 research or equity analysis—this is a role for Web3-native analysts.
