Role: Salesforce Commercial to GovCloud Migration Specialist Location: Canada/USA (Preferred Canada Candidates)- Remote Duration: Permanent (Full-Time) Role Overview We are looking for a highly experienced Salesforce professional with strong expertise in migrating a Commercial Salesforce Production instance to Salesforce GovCloud (US) . The ideal candidate will lead the entire migration cycle, ensuring security, compliance, data integrity, and seamless cutover to the GovCloud environment. Responsibilities Lead the migration of Commercial Salesforce Production Org to GovCloud (US). Perform compliance assessment and ensure all data/security requirements are met. Execute data migration, metadata deployment, and environment configuration. Partner with InfoSec, Compliance, DevOps, and Architecture teams for secure migration. Validate integrations, external systems, and connected applications post-migration. Conduct UAT, deployment validation, cutover execution, and post-go-live support. Primary Skills (Must-Have) Proven, hands-on experience in end-to-end migration from Salesforce Commercial Org to Salesforce GovCloud (US). Strong understanding of FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST security controls and compliance-driven migration. Deep experience in data migration using Data Loader, ETL tools, and large-volume data strategies. Expertise in metadata deployments using Change Sets, SFDX, Git-based CICD pipelines. Ability to redesign and map Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and Role Hierarchy for GovCloud security requirements. Experience reconfiguring integrations, connected apps, APIs, certificates for GovCloud endpoints. Strong background in Org assessment, planning, gap analysis, migration execution, UAT, and production cutover. Secondary Skills (Good to Have) Experience with Salesforce Shield (Platform Encryption, Event Monitoring). Knowledge of SSO, SAML, MFA, and identity management. Understanding of Apex, LWC, Flows, and standard Salesforce development patterns. Familiarity with integration platforms like MuleSoft, Boomi, or Apigee. Strong communication and documentation skills for handling stakeholders and compliance teams. Exposure to AWS/Azure GovCloud integration touchpoints. Preferred Skills (Added Advantage) Prior experience supporting Federal, State, or Public Sector Salesforce environments. Understanding of ATO (Authority to Operate) processes and documentation. Experience in multi-org strategy, consolidation, or secure data boundary design. #J-18808-Ljbffr
