QA Automation Lead

Job Description Infosys is seeking a QA Automation Lead. In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, ON or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of Information Technology experience. Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. 4+ years of test automation experience Strong knowledge of OOP (understanding OOP in automation) Excellent knowledge of automation testing principles Excellent knowledge of web-based application structure Excellent knowledge of Python programming language Expert in REST API testing Experience in UI testing Wide experience in developing automation testing frameworks Hands‑on experience with pytest, request, Selenium WebDriver CI/CD knowledge and experience Deep understanding of SDLC (SCRUM, Kanban) Experience with performance, load and/or security testing Hands‑on experience with the following applications: Azure DevOps, DataDog, XRay for Jira, Jira, Confluence Hands‑on experience in Appium Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and experience in reviewing requirements Problem‑solving skills Databases general knowledge (SQL or others) Good theoretical knowledge of testing levels and types Test design techniques knowledge Job Details The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
