Infosys is seeking a QA Automation Lead.

In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, ON or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.4+ years of test automation experienceStrong knowledge of OOP (understanding OOP in automation)Excellent knowledge of automation testing principlesExcellent knowledge of web-based application structureExcellent knowledge of Python programming languageExpert in REST API testingExperience in UI testingWide experience in developing automation testing frameworksHands-on experience with pytest, request, Selenium WebDriverCI/CD knowledge and experienceDeep understanding of SDLC (SCRUM, Kanban)Experience with performance, load and/or security testingHands-on experience with the following applications: Azure DevOps, DataDog, XRay for Jira, Jira, ConfluenceHands-on experience in Appium

Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge and experience in reviewing requirementsProblem-solving skillsDatabases general knowledge (SQL or others)Good theoretical knowledge of testing levels and typesTest design techniques knowledge
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
