Brief Summary: We are seeking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist with experience in optics and precision components to lead supplier strategy and procurement initiatives. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating and managing suppliers to ensure optimal quality, cost and delivery performance. Job Description: Identify, qualify and develop a robust supplier base for optical components and related materials Perform market analysis and supplier benchmarking to support strategic sourcing decisions Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key categories, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements Negotiate pricing, contracts and supply agreements with local and international vendors Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or performance Ensure continuity of supply and manage risk through dual sourcing, lead time reduction and inventory optimization Support new product introduction through early supplier engagement Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure supplier compliance with industry and internal standards Monitor supplier performance using key metrics (OTD, quality, responsiveness, etc) Maintain sourcing documentation including RFQs, contracts, scorecards and compliance records Use ERP and sourcing tools to track purchasing data, analyse trends and identify improvement opportunities This role will require up to 20% travel, including visits to key suppliers, industry events and sourcing across global locations Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Optics, Physics or related field 4+ years of sourcing or procurement experience, ideally in optics, precision manufacturing or high‑tech industries Strong understanding of optical components, materials and manufacturing processes Proven negotiation skills and experience managing global suppliers Proficiency with ERP systems and sourcing tools (e.g. SAP) Strong analytical, communication and project management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
