Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a General Manager at Sudbury Retirement Manor, located in Greater Sudbury, ON. The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensure that high‑quality services are delivered to residents, and maintain regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include managing staff, developing and executing operational strategies, overseeing budgets, and enhancing resident satisfaction. The General Manager will also be responsible for engaging with residents, families, and community members to foster a welcoming and positive living environment. Qualifications Leadership and management skills, with experience in overseeing teams and operational processes effectively. Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and team members. Financial acumen and budgeting experience to manage resources efficiently. Knowledge of healthcare or senior living services, with an understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance. Customer‑focused mindset, ensuring resident satisfaction and delivering exceptional service. Proven ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and care.
