Introduction:

Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead the research and development of our bio-based polymers for surface coatings.
- Supervise and expand our R&D team, ensuring projects align with our strategic vision.
- Collaborate closely with other executive team members to define the company’s scientific and technological priorities.
- Provide technical expertise for the development of new products and the enhancement of existing ones.
- Actively participate in securing funding, writing grant applications, and managing intellectual property.
- Represent the company at scientific conferences and industry forums.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field (a plus).
- Substantial experience in materials research and development, ideally within the coatings or polymers sector.
- Strong ability to innovate and transform ideas into marketable solutions.
- Experience managing teams and complex scientific projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Revêtements Sugar Coated Technologies Inc., une entreprise dynamique spécialisée dans le développement de solutions de revêtements de surface innovantes et durables, recherche un Directeur Scientifique (CSO) pour rejoindre notre équipe en tant que co-fondateur. Rôle et responsabilités :
- Diriger la recherche et le développement de nos polymères biosourcés pour revêtements de surface.
- Superviser et élargir notre équipe de R&D, en garantissant l'alignement des projets avec notre vision stratégique.
- Collaborer étroitement avec les autres membres de la direction pour définir les priorités scientifiques et technologiques de l'entreprise.
- Fournir une expertise technique pour le développement de nouveaux produits et l'amélioration des produits existants.
- Participer activement à l'obtention de financements, la rédaction de demandes de subventions, et la gestion de la propriété intellectuelle.
- Représenter l'entreprise dans les conférences scientifiques et les forums industriels.
Qualifications requises :
- PhD en chimie, matériaux, ou un domaine connexe (un atout).
- Expérience substantielle dans la recherche et le développement de matériaux, idéalement dans le secteur des revêtements ou des polymères.
- Forte capacité à innover et à transformer des idées en solutions commercialisables.
- Expérience en gestion d'équipe et en projets scientifiques complexes.
- Excellentes compétences en communication et en leadership.
