Employer Industry: Energy Transportation and Distribution Why consider this job opportunity: Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Fully paid benefits for the duration of the temporary assignment Flexible work options available, including a hybrid work model Generous time off provided Chance to work with a diverse team and contribute to innovative energy solutions What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Provide senior-level expertise in measurement, gas quality, pressure control, and line break processes Guide design and operation of meter stations to meet regulatory requirements and best practices Plan and complete Measurement Canada regulatory requirements in collaboration with engineering and field teams Develop and enforce gas quality program standards and procedures, including presentations to senior leadership Provide technical and troubleshooting support for equipment and measurement data issues What is Required (Qualifications): Related university degree in a technical discipline and 7+ years of experience, or 10+ years of field operations measurement experience Experience with measurement equipment in the natural gas industry is an asset Excellent knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., CSA, AGA, API, GPA) Ability to travel to field locations across North America as needed Willingness to work outside of regular office hours when necessary How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Previous experience in a senior technical advisory role within the energy sector Familiarity with vendor-supplied devices such as meters and analyzers Proven ability to perform technical calculations related to natural gas measurement "We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
