The Opportunity The Director of Youth Services is responsible for supporting the Executive Director of Child and Family Services and the Child and Family Services programs by managing contracts, projects and activities that support the department’s work and the agency’s vision. The main responsibilities include: Assist in establishing a yearly budget with the Executive Director of Child and Family Services and Executive Director of Health. Directly manage program staff in Youth Services (Burns Lakes, Prince George and Vanderhoof), Culture Camps, and any other program as assigned; monitor, evaluate and provide ongoing supervision, training, and review service decisions and staff compliance with legislation. Develop, design and submit proposals to funding agencies in consultation with the Executive Director of Child and Family Services and Executive Director of Health. Draft policies and procedures that directly affect program operations. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Child and Youth, Social Work, Social Science or a related field. Leadership experience in a complex health and social service organization. Five years’ experience in a related leadership role. Wage Range : The target hiring range for this position is CA$66.06‑CA$86.90 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range, based on role‑specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and relevant market and internal equity considerations.
