Position Summary:
We are currently looking for an experienced Windows Forms Desktop Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has 7-10+ years of experience working in enterprise software, building product features using Microsoft .NET Desktop technologies. As a senior developer on our team, you will be driven by a passion for enhancing our core desktop software, focusing on feature improvements that boost both its functionality and user experience, all while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities include:
- Becoming a key technical contributor to a customer-centric development organization that is committed to supporting its customers for the long-term
- Improving application usability and building a modern foundation for growth that is based on a legacy of providing equipment dealers with the tools needed for success
- Leveraging your experience and problem-solving skills to track down and fix the technical issues that arise in large complex systems when they impact our customer’s operations
- Navigating a large-scale application and building solutions that touch all aspects of our tech stack, you are equally comfortable working in the desktop UI, database and API's
- Quickly learning new technology frameworks and adapting your experience to solve our customers’ unique challenges. You are committed to personal and professional development with a keen interest in how technology can be used as a tool to help the customer
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Windows Forms and WPF
- SQL Server T-SQL Procedures
- A willingness to 'roll up one's sleeves' and assist wherever needed
- Analytical and process-oriented mindset
- Excellent organization, time management and communication skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to set priorities and be flexible
- Microsoft ASP.NET would be an asset
- Microsoft Azure would be an asset
Location: role can be remote, but willing travel as required
