As a frontend engineer on the Product Planning team, you’ll help build the work‑items views and related features that power agile boards, lists, table view, and saved views. What You’ll Do Collaborate closely with Product and Design to finalize requirements and break down projects into smaller iterations, then work with other engineers to plan and execute the work. Work with engineers across the Plan Stage, including senior, staff, and principal frontend engineers and Vue core members. Iterate and ship value to customers quickly, create POCs for complex work, and ensure quality by writing extensive tests and rolling out changes behind feature flags. Craft code that meets our standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high‑scale web environment. Support other frontend engineers and advocate for quality during code reviews. Participate in the quality rotation. Nurture our open‑source community by preparing issues for contributors, organizing hackathons, and reviewing contributions. Suggest and execute process improvements in monthly retrospectives. What You’ll Bring Professional experience with Vue.js (2.x), Apollo Client, and VueApollo. Professional experience building fullstack web apps with GraphQL. Experience writing automated tests with Jest. A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts. A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts such as how the browser parses and constructs a web page. Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions. Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to diagnose and prevent these problems. Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process. Effective communication skills: regularly achieve consensus with peers and provide clear status updates.
