Job Description Position: Senior UX Designer Location: Toronto, Ontario Type: Full-time Environment: Hybrid We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join a growing team to translate user insights and business needs into thoughtful product experiences that support evolving platform capabilities. We design tools that help manage the business and work will involve solving interesting and complex user flow and interface challenges, creating wireframes, prototypes and/or visual designs, and overseeing the visual interface for the web‑based products or applications. You will become the owner and expert of your domain, gaining a deep understanding of the platform and the overall market. This role is ideal for a strong designer looking to deepen their craft and grow their impact. Responsibilities Identify user needs, explore and prototype solutions, test ideas, and refine designs with data and user feedback. Gain a thorough understanding of the market and competitive landscape as part of the discovery process. Work closely with your trifecta (UX, product and development teams) and stakeholders to develop solutions to new problems while bringing consistency, simplicity, and ease‑of‑use to the experience of our products. Deliver high‑quality visual design across your features, ensuring clarity, consistency, and craftsmanship. Document detailed interaction models and UI specifications. Collaborate with other designers to maintain design consistency and coherence across all our platforms and promote the best UI practices to other designers, engineers, and product owners. Balance business goals with user needs when designing solutions, ensuring that your solutions drive impact for both. Requirements A minimum of 6 years of experience in UX design. An online portfolio showcasing your UX design work. Demonstrated end‑to‑end product design experience from discovery and concept development through delivery and post‑launch optimization. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., User Experience, Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related discipline) is required. Skills We’re Looking For Strong UX and visual design skills, with proven end‑to‑end design experience and the ability to leverage and expand upon an existing design system. Proven experience delivering design solutions in ambiguous and evolving problem spaces with the ability to iterate fast.A passion for innovation, balanced by the ability to address business needs and user expectations. A curious, continuous‑learning mindset with an openness to feedback and new perspectives. Proven ability to build trust, accept and provide feedback, across all levels of the organization. Strong communication skills to articulate ideas, provide context and direction to cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated success in fast‑paced, dynamic environments, with the ability to adapt to change. AI fluency – practical experience leveraging AI tools to enhance research, ideation, prototyping, or visual design workflows. An understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and limitations. Ability to define and track UX KPIs and success metrics to measure effectiveness and continuously optimize outcomes. Nice‑to‑have Skills Prior experience working in the SaaS industry or designing tools for B2B platforms is an asset. Fast paced environments where you have demonstrated your adaptability are key.
