JOB DESCRIPTION
- Location: Oakville
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Length of term: 12 Months with a potential extension
- Work schedule: 40 hours/week
- Work mode: Hybrid (onsite 2 (two) days a week)
We are searching on behalf of one of our clients for a Data Migration Analyst – Data Readiness, Migration and Validation. The candidate will report to the Director in Data Governance & Management.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proficiency in material management (Material Master) in SAP with a strong Logistics background.
- Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Configuration (PLM) and tool management (e.g. PTC Windchill).
- Solid understanding of integration between the various SAP modules: MM, SD, FI/CO, WM.
- Responsible for analyzing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP MM module to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand procurement and materials processes, implementing system enhancements, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
- Coordinate the testing of master data with peers and internal customers to ensure business requirements are achieved.
- Maintain the Material BOM & Recipe release process to meet manufacturing requirements and to maintain compliant, efficient, and reliable batch records and supporting data.
- Provide direct internal customer support to manufacturing, site planning, inventory control, quality assurance, quality control, global master data management, and IT.
- Maintain an understanding of the manufacturing processes and SAP S/4 HANA.
- Provide periodic on-call support to internal customers for emergent system issues.
- Troubleshoot routine and complex problems to support internal customers.
- Collaborate with site management and IT to develop business requirements for business process improvements within global information systems.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 6 years' experience in a similar position
- Bachelor’s degree in information science, data management or project management.
- SAP MM ABAP knowledge and technical expert on challenging IT projects and includes Materials Management (MM).
- Technical disciplines with responsibility for design and development of computer software applications and/or database systems.
- Experience in project management or technical coordination, product architecture, production engineering, or continuous improvement.
- The incumbent must be bilingual in French and English as the employee will be required to work with resources outside of Quebec.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and in a cross-functional environment and communicate with people at various levels within the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite collaborative tools (SharePoint), ticketing and case management tools (Atlassian JIRA™, or equivalent).
- Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy, a sense of responsibility, ownership, and intellectual curiosity.
- Provide leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong spoken and written communication skills (French and English).
