Bilingual Communications Specialist

Position: Bilingual Communications Specialist Company: CST Savings Inc. Reports to: Manager, Communications Location: Flexible Work Location Arrangements Available Application Deadline: October 28th, 2025 Role Summary: The Bilingual Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing strategic internal and external communication initiatives in both English and French to enhance the organization’s visibility, credibility, and engagement with key audiences. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller and strategist who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. They will support content creation, media relations (experience and relationships with Quebec market), and campaign management while ensuring all communications reflect the organization’s brand, values, and tone in both official languages. What you will be doing: Support bilingual communication strategies, drafting and editing materials (press releases, speeches, newsletters, reports). Assess day-to-day media environment and identify issues, trends and current events to seize opportunities for increased coverage/exposure. Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences. Liaise with Quebec media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc. Support internal communications initiatives. Assist with other duties as required. What you bring: 5 – 7 years of communications experience in corporate or agency. Experience working with not-for-profit organizations is preferred. Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing. Experience in copywriting and editing (English & French). Fundamental understanding of the Canadian media landscape including Quebec media (traditional, social). Can work independently and still manage to keep everyone in the loop. Great people and relationship building skills; team player; confident dealing with all levels (junior to executive). Flexible and adaptable; able to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
