Our client is global insurance company with growing business in Canada. They are currently looking for Business Systems Analyst to join the team. Position will be responsible for identifying business problems, optimizing business processes and configuring product requirements to improve their Property and Casualty Policy Administration Application.


This is a full-time permanent position.


Requirements:

  • Gather and analyze insurance business requirements (Guidewire/Property and Casualty/Commercial) and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Business systems support including technical and application troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain ticket documentation, including requirements, design, and test documents.
  • Utilizes, maintains and supports a variety of reports or queries. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on insurance business systems and applications.
  • Participate in the development of new insurance products and services, including pricing and underwriting strategies.


Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience working as a technical Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of Guidewire or ISI or P&C Insurance domain.
  • Strong Postgres and/or MSSQL experience.
  • IIBA or Project Management certification is an asset.
  • Familiarity with the ISI policy administration system is beneficial.
  • Bilingual (English/French) proficiency is preferred but not mandatory.
