Job Title Indigenous Affairs Officer Job Details Employer: Kahui Tautoko Consulting (Canada) Ltd Posting date: January 19, 2026 Job type: Permanent Full Time Work location: Vancouver, BC V6E 4L5 (Hybrid) Salary: $120,000 to $150,000 per year (to be negotiated) Hours: 40 hours per week Vacancies: 1 Overview The Indigenous Affairs Officer will lead social development initiatives, analyze data, design and evaluate programs, and coordinate services to support Indigenous communities, while providing consulting and training to government and partner organizations. Responsibilities Analyze data and conduct surveys Assess social developments and conduct demographic, social and economic analyses Develop social programs and plan and coordinate social services Report on implications for housing and related social policy Provide staff training and supervise office and volunteer staff Conduct research and deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness Provide consulting services to government and other organizations Qualifications Master’s degree in Aboriginal studies, social sciences, health professions or related field Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Strong analytical, research and presentation skills Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and team‑player skills Proficient in English Valid Canadian work authorization Education Master’s degree Aboriginal studies Social Sciences Health Professions and Related Clinical Sciences Experience 5 years or more in relevant field Language English Work Setting Management Security & Safety Criminal record check required Transportation Own transportation required Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Work under pressure with tight deadlines Attention to detail and ability to handle large workload Personal Suitability Accurate, client focused, efficient, flexible, organized, team player Excellent communication skills Benefits Free parking available On‑site amenities Paid time off (volunteering or personal days) Team building opportunities Wellness program Other benefits – Free parking, On‑site amenities, Paid time off, Team building, Wellness program Support for Indigenous people Participation in a government or community program that supports Indigenous people Mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers Maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities and Indigenous‑owned businesses Provision of cultural competency training to all employees Facilitation of access to Elders for support and guidance Eligibility Application is restricted to Canadian citizens, permanent residents or temporary residents with valid work permits.
