Director, Information Systems and Online Learning About the Role Newman Theological College is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Information Systems and Online Learning. This position oversees the College’s Student Information System (SIS) and Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring that both platforms effectively support academic and administrative excellence. Reporting to the President, the Director will lead the implementation of a new SIS beginning in January 2026, assess and potentially transition the College’s LMS, and provide ongoing leadership in online learning and educational technology. Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation of a new SIS and oversee its ongoing management. Evaluate and optimize the College’s LMS, ensuring effective integration with the SIS. Support faculty, staff, and students in online learning practices and LMS use. Provide strategic recommendations on information systems and educational technology. Collaborate closely with the Academic Dean and Registrar. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Educational Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred). Experience managing SIS and/or LMS platforms in an academic setting. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills. Understanding of online pedagogy and digital learning best practices.
