Sherbrooke, Canada BRP Full time

As a member of the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team within the global parts, accessories and apparel (PA&A) group, you will collaborate with management and business units focused on the distribution and logistics aspects of our global operations. By joining our team, you will have the chance to exert a significant impact on our global transportation operations, driving financial efficiency and operational excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Data-Driven Financial Modelling: Develop and refine data-driven financial models that guide strategic decision-making in distribution, transportation and 3PL operations, ensuring cost efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluate the performance of distribution, transportation and 3PL operations, comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts. Identify and analyze variances and provide explanations and recommendations to management. This includes financial and operational performance.

  • ETL Process Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes. This involves working with complex data sets from various sources, ensuring their accurate extraction, transformation, and loading into a centralized data warehouse for improved financial and performance analysis.
  • Data Visualization and Communication: Utilize modern data visualization tools to translate complex financial and operational data into intuitive, interactive dashboards and reports. This will enhance understanding of trends, patterns, and anomalies, enabling informed decision-making.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • The ideal candidate for this role will have a natural aptitude for data analysis, an understanding of finance, be a team player and have good communication skills.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in data analysis and finance.
  • An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, supply chain management or another related field.

  • Knowledge of database structures and query tools, and hands-on experience with advanced query tools, including but not limited to platforms like Snowflake and SQL (SSMS).
  • Knowledge of ETL tools such as Knime and Dataiku would be a plus, but don’t worry if you’ve never used them. We’ll teach you.
  • Expertise in leveraging sophisticated data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Programming experience in Python, R or SQL.
  • A proven ability to learn and use different information systems (e.g. SAP, TM1, Ariba, etc.).
