We’re looking for a Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) SME to lead the greenfield implementation of ITSI within a large-scale AIOps initiative. Splunk Enterprise is already in place for log analytics, but ITSI is newly licensed, and there is no existing ITSI expertise on the team. This role sits within Application Operations and will focus on deploying, configuring, and integrating ITSI across enterprise monitoring programs while driving real-time service visibility and automated incident response. Base pay range CA$55.00/hr – CA$60.00/hr Hybrid role: 1-2 days/week onsite Toronto, ON Contract (likelihood of extensions) Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation and configuration of Splunk ITSI in a large enterprise environment Design service models, KPIs, health scores, and dependencies for critical applications Integrate ITSI with existing monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Azure Insights) and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, potentially Jira) Build correlation searches, episodes, and dashboards to improve observability and reduce alert noise Enable telemetry ingestion from multiple tools (Splunk, Loki, Dynatrace, Azure Insights) into ITSI Collaborate with AppOps, SRE, Engineering, and AIOps teams to define observability strategy Required Skills 5+ years working with Splunk Enterprise in large-scale environments 2+ years of hands‑on Splunk ITSI implementation experience (greenfield preferred) Expertise in service modeling, KPIs, dashboards, correlation searches, and episodes Experience integrating ITSI with ServiceNow (required) and Jira (nice‑to‑have) Ability to onboard telemetry from diverse sources into ITSI Familiarity with AIOps pipelines, predictive incident detection, and alert noise reduction Scripting skills (Python, Shell, PowerShell) are an asset Nice to Have Experience supporting Application Operations and SRE teams Knowledge of clustering (indexer/search head) – to be confirmed Additional Notes ITSI will sit on top of Splunk Enterprise, but new applications don’t need to log directly into Splunk Tools like Loki, Dynatrace, and Azure Insights can feed telemetry into ITSI Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Contract Job Function Information Technology Industries Staffing and Recruiting and Banking #J-18808-Ljbffr
