Join S&C to make an impact on tomorrow’s energy challenges Work Arrangement Onsite Work Term Summer 2026, open to 4 Months (May - August) or 8 Months (May - December) or 12 months (May - April) term Compensation At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, with a commitment to transparency in our pay practices. The hourly pay range for this position is $22.50 - $36.20. Individual pay within this range is determined by several compensable factors, including the year of study, type of academic program, and the number of prior co-op work terms completed. Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Engineering Support (Co-op) Are you passionate about Engineering? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual for our Manufacturing Engineering team. The Manufacturing Engineering Support is responsible for supporting manufacturing engineering projects. Key Responsibilities Work on plant layout updates & preparation of work instructions. Assist in CAPEX projects with Project/ Manufacturing Engineers. Conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives. Working alongside designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures. What you’ll Need To Succeed Currently enrolled in a registered post‑secondary co‑op program in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering. Available for a 4, 8, or 12‑month placement starting in the Summer 2026 Co‑op work term. Good understanding of VBA & Python. Some CAD experience in Solid Edge, Solid Works or AutoCAD. Some experience working with machines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical Effort Normal or frequent minor physical effort is required for the day‑to‑day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20lbs. Work Environment Acceptable working environment with minor or almost no disagreeable or challenging working conditions as part of everyday expected levels (all jobs will occasionally experience undesirable or disagreeable events).
