Position Manufacturing Safety Engineer Location Orillia, ON Salary $100,000 - $120,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications) Industry Manufacturing / EH&S / Manufacturing Engineer / Industrial Responsibilities Develop, plan and improve safe manufacturing processes in the plant. Design, implement, and maintain safety standards to ensure a safe working environment. Identify and lead the development, specification, and implementation of capital expenditure projects. Lead Lean-Six Sigma methodology implementation and lead Kaizen projects. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Post-secondary degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or a related field. 4 – 5+ years related Engineering experience. Experience and ability to develop, monitor, administer and report on budgets. Experience in managing large capital projects. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, and ability to implement them.
