Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

About the Company

The employer is an established Canadian logistics and container-services company, operating more than 200 power units and over 800 chassis across four offices in Canada.

Their strategically located yards sit near key rail terminals in Mississauga, Montreal, Calgary, and Edmonton, backed by approximately 15 acres of secured short- and long-term storage capacity nationwide.

It's a practical, fast-moving environment where operations, customer service, dispatch, fleet activity, and commercial decisions are closely connected.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role for a logistics professional who wants to learn how to run a transportation business from the inside.

The role is approximately 70% operations and 30% business development. It's not a pure sales role, and it's not a desk-based strategy position.

You'll work closely with senior leadership, support daily operational decisions, lead teams, manage customer issues, and contribute to business growth. You'll learn the operation deeply, take ownership of difficult situations, and earn broader responsibility through strong execution.

This opportunity is best suited to someone ambitious, commercially capable, operationally hands-on, and motivated to prove themselves in a demanding environment.

  • Participate in pricing, proposals, presentations, and commercial discussions
  • Represent the company professionally in client meetings and industry settings
  • Prepare regular updates on operational priorities, client activity, and business-development progress

Travel & Availability

  • Travel approximately 2–4 times per month to Montreal, Edmonton, and Calgary
  • Attend client meetings, visit company locations, and support business-development activity
  • Remain reachable for urgent operational decisions outside regular hours when required
  • Maintain reliable transportation for local travel
