Key Responsibilities: • Inspect and repair freight car equipment for safety • Perform preventative maintenance on structural components • Conduct urgent repairs to ensure equipment service • Utilize power tools and welding for precision repairs • Work on rail cars in a variety of positions
Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment experience • Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred • Willingness to work shifts in varied conditions • Strong safety dedication and communication skills
