This permanent role reports to CANARIE's Director of Finance Operations. Candidates should showcase strong accounting proficiency and a knack for problem-solving. You will lead financial reporting efforts and streamline finance processes, contributing to informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities: • Draft financial statements with working papers and reconciliations • Direct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities • Ensure compliance by analyzing complex transactions • Manage and facilitate external audits effectively • Collaborate on budgeting and financial planning efforts
Requirements: • At least 7 years of experience in finance or accounting • In-depth understanding of Canadian GAAP • Experience with finance process automation preferred • Exceptional skills in Excel and other ERP systems • Strong judgment and communication abilities
