Victoriaville, Quebec, Canada Candidates who applied for this post are accountable for returning to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery. People applying for this post are appointed to start the day in the depot, sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries working at this post. People accountable at this post to work inside a sorting facility, sorting mail and packages working at this post. Candidates who applied for this post are required to work various shifts along with the operation of material handling equipment. They’re appointed at this post to receive and accept mail items. Along with this, they’re required to sort, scan, sequence and batch mail items. Candidates are accountable for transfers and dispatching of parcels and packets and perform other postal clerk duties as required. People applying for this post are required to complete reports and documentation working at this post. Job requirement
Candidates interested at this post must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post. They must have the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly throughout the day. Candidates must have experience in customer service along with prior experience making deliveries or working as a driver to be eligible for this post. People who applied for this post must have experience working in a production environment. Work setting
Candidates must attain the ability to work in all types of weather along with the availability to be on-call, possibly evenings and weekends to be eligible for this post. Candidates must attain the ability to read, write and speak English and French to get preferred for this post.
