What this role is all about:
The Beem Talent Acquisition Team is looking for an intermediate recruiter for a temporary 8-month position. You’ll join a small but mighty talent acquisition team working to support a credit union with 60+ branches across British Columbia. We are in a growth phase and are operating in a merger landscape. The successful candidate will recruit for a mix of positions from entry-level to senior branch roles as well as head office team members.
This is a temporary 8-month position, to support high volume hiring. This role is open to a remote work arrangement in British Columbia. While we welcome all applications, we anticipate filling this role with a candidate located in British Columbia.
What you’ll do:
Recruitment & Selection
- Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to source and select top talent following best practices
- Post open positions, screen candidates, conduct initial interviews over phone and video call, recommend candidates, schedule interviews for hiring managers, debrief and support hiring decisions, make offers, conduct background checks
- Support hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions that attract qualified candidates
- Provide a world-class candidate experience
- Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and community outreach initiatives
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics
