Lead energy management initiatives with the City of London as a Corporate Energy Manager. Oversee sustainability projects, utility procurement, and energy conservation programs to enhance corporate assets.
In this managerial role, you will drive corporate energy management while aligning with Council’s Strategic Plan. You'll supervise employees, implement green energy initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Managing energy data and planning for capital budgets are essential parts of the job.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and administer corporate energy management programs
• Manage employees' performance and support their development
• Establish and monitor renewable energy programs
• Negotiate utility procurement and manage data analysis
• Prepare reports for Council and public inquiries
Requirements:
• Advanced Diploma or Degree in Engineering or relevant field
• 5-7 years of experience in power and energy management
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or eligible within 6 months
• Strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation in energy management Utilize your expertise in energy management and sustainability to advance corporate initiatives with the City of London.
