Elevate your career as a Senior Payroll Advisor at Arnett & Burgess Energy Services in Calgary or Blackfalds. This 6-month contract role focuses on managing multi-jurisdictional payroll processes and compliance.
As part of our Accounting group, you will report to the Corporate Controller and require extensive Canadian payroll compliance experience along with leadership skills. Your responsibilities will involve overseeing payroll functions, ensuring accuracy in payroll processing, and supporting audit requirements. A commitment to continuous improvement is essential.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage full-cycle payroll for salaried and hourly employees • Prepare and submit payroll remittances and tax forms • Support month-end and year-end reporting and audits • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll records • Lead payroll team training and resource planning
Requirements: • 7 years of payroll experience, including supervisory roles • PCP or PLP designation from the National Payroll Institute • Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation • Proficiency in Eclipse, Excel, and SharePoint • Experience with group benefits administration
