In this position, you will work within the accounting team at AutoCanada, Canada’s largest automotive dealer group. You will perform account reconciliations, compile financial statements, and ensure appropriate sales tax management. The role demands attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, alongside adapting to changing business needs.
Key Responsibilities: • Execute bookkeeping and detailed account reconciliations • Prepare and compile financial statements for the organization • Manage the filing and payment of sales taxes accurately • Support team members with various accounting tasks • Engage in administrative work and project management
Requirements: • Relevant accounting experience with a sound foundation • Strong understanding of job costing and intercompany transactions • Proficiency in utilizing QBO or Sage for accounting tasks • Solid knowledge of GST/HST workings and additional PST • Excellent organizational and communication skills
