Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Centra Windows Inc. Full-time
LEAD THE FIELD. BUILD THE OPERATION.

You are an experienced General Superintendent, Senior Site Superintendent, Installation Manager, or Field Operations leader who has come up through the field. You understand how building-envelope work is installed, sequenced, inspected, and corrected because you have led it firsthand.

Your responsibility extends beyond the daily execution of one site. You will lead the Site Supervisors responsible for multiple building-envelope remediation projects across Alberta, allocating resources, removing barriers, and creating consistency across every field team.

This is not a Project Manager position. Project Managers own contract administration, financial reporting, documentation, and formal client administration. You will own field execution, labour productivity, resource deployment, quality, safety, schedule performance, and the field decisions that protect project margin.

The Role

We are looking for a construction operations leader who can create consistency across multiple active projects, develop strong Site Supervisors, and make the operational decisions that protect safety, quality, schedule, and margin.

This is not a role focused on running the daily activities of one job site. You will lead through Site Supervisors, allocate labour and resources across a portfolio of projects, remove barriers before they affect production, and build the field structure required for sustainable growth.

What you will own

The safe, efficient, profitable execution of building envelope remediation projects across Alberta, with individual project values ranging from approximately $500K to $10M+.

Field performance across multiple concurrent projects, including schedule execution, labour productivity, resource allocation, procurement readiness, quality, and operational risk.

The leadership and development of Site Supervisors, Forepersons, Carpenters, and site teams, creating clear expectations and consistent accountability across every project.

The operating rhythm between field teams, Project Management, Estimating, suppliers, consultants, and executive leadership.

The systems, standards, and scalable practices that allow Alberta operations to grow without compromising quality, safety, profitability, or the client experience.

What the work looks like

Review the full project portfolio and make informed decisions about labour, equipment, materials, and competing site priorities.

Identify schedule pressure, production gaps, procurement needs, constructability issues, and operational risks early, then mobilize the right people and solutions.

Coach Site Supervisors to lead confidently, solve problems at the right level, and deliver consistent standards across different teams and locations.

Monitor field productivity, cost impacts, resource utilization, and forecasted labour requirements, taking corrective action when performance begins to drift.

Provide technical leadership on building envelope remediation, self-performed work, trade coordination, quality control, and consultant-driven requirements.

Represent field operations in key client, consultant, and project meetings with credibility, sound judgment, and a solutions-focused approach.

Strengthen Alberta operations through repeatable processes, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications Required

10+ years of progressive construction experience, including at least 5 years in field leadership as a Superintendent, General Superintendent, Installation Manager, or comparable field leader.

Direct experience leading Site Superintendents, Forepersons, and skilled field crews across multiple concurrent projects.

Technical experience with building-envelope systems such as windows, glazing, cladding, waterproofing, roofing, air/vapour barriers, exterior insulation, or envelope remediation.

Demonstrated responsibility for labour planning, crew deployment, production, quality, safety, materials, and equipment across multiple sites.

Experience leading self-performed construction or installation crews.

Able to identify constructability and installation problems in the field and provide credible technical direction.

Calgary-based or committed to relocating, with frequent travel throughout Alberta.

Preferred

Multi-family building-envelope remediation.

Occupied-building construction.

Alberta trade, labour, supplier, and regulatory knowledge.

CCDC contracts and construction software.

Projects ranging from $500K to $10M+.
